6. Adding notes to your applications
It's easy to add and remove tags and notes to any of your applications in Aptrack.
This allows for easy sorting and efficient management of your candidates.
For advertised positions with a large number of applications, this can be particularly useful to view candidates with a particular skillset, experience,
or whatever criteria you are searching for.
To add notes to your candidates, follow the instructions below:
The notes section can be found at the bottom of the application display window:
To add a note to any application, it's as simple as typing into the box and hitting Return.
The notes window is permanently viewable at the bottom of the screen, and can be updated at any time.
You can see that all notes show the creation date, and the consultant who created them.
Any applicant notes that are created, are visible on any application made by that candidate, on a company-wide level.
For example, if the above candidate were to apply for another position advertised by the company, all consultants will be able to read
the notes attached to the application, regardless of who created them.
This can be a very useful way to flag up potential timewasters, multiple applications, and keep track of great candidates within the business.
